"VINTAGE" Slot Car Racing

 

1/24 Scale "Vintage" racing at Hornsby Slot Cars is held on the 3rd Friday of each month, and we rotate through 6 classes of car over the 12 month season.

 

We call it "Vintage" because it replicates the golden era of slot cars, by allowing cars of that vintage, and/or the style of racing on a flat road course slot car track.

A. Stockers

U.S. Stock Cars that raced during the years 1955 to 1975.

Specifically for FX & FJ Holdens.

C. Trans Am

Cars that were eligible to race in Trans-Am races during the years 1964 to 1974.

Any Sports car from 1945 to current.

Any open wheel race car that competed in GP, F1 or Indy during the years 1945 to 1969.

The latest sensation to come out of the USA. Scratch built brass frames under 1960's race cars.
